With Free Agency about to heat up tomorrow sources in the league’s front office are reporting that the Dallas Cowboys will lose as much as $10 million of salary cap space for front-loading money during the 2010 uncapped year. The Cowboys had more than $12 million in cap space before this incident but with the 8.8 million dollar franchise tag Anthony Spencer received and fullback Tony Fiammetta’s $1.26 million franchise tender that will eat into that rather quickly. But Cowboys’ fans there is light in the end of the tunnel. The team can still free up some cap space by cutting Terence Newman which will save the Cowboys $6 million in cap space. Another option is restructuring the deals of Dez Bryant, DeMarcus Ware, Doug Free, and Orlando Scandrick will also free up around $13 million dollars –ESPNDallas.com. Also by releasing both DE Kenyon Coleman and kicker David Buehler will save $1.9 million and $1.26 million dollars in cap space.
