The injury bug continues to hit this Dallas Cowboys team hard this preseason.
Sources are stating that the Dallas Cowboys All-Pro tight end Jason Witten suffered an abdominal (spleen) injury during the preseason game Monday night against the Oakland Raiders. At this time, it’s not believed that surgery will be required. But it hasn’t completely been ruled out.
“We don’t know yet the severity of the injury” said Cowboys reporter Mike Fisher on 105.3 The Fan.
The Cowboys haven’t ruled out Witten for the Week One game against the New York Giants.
