Cowboys Prepare To Enter Hostile Territory

Dallas Cowboys (1-0) vs Seattle Seahawks (0-1)

After a huge win against NFC rival the New York Giants last week in the season opener the Dallas Cowboys now shift their focus on the NFC West’s Seattle Seahawks.

The Cowboys coaching staff knows that this game will be a challenge.

This is a very difficult place to play,” Garrett said. “It’s loud. It’s almost like a college-type atmosphere.”

CenturyLink Field the Home of 12th man is one of the loudest stadium in the NFL the Seattle fans really have a true passion for the game of football.  Inside CenturyLink Field the noise level can reach as high as 137 decibel, or the equivalent of a jet engine. This has caused problems for opposing teams, making them have numerous false starts and penalties. From 2005 through the beginning of the 2010 season, seahawk fans have caused a league-high 107 false start penalties. Source-Wikipedia

To prepare for the crowd noise the Cowboys will pump in additional noise over the loudspeakers during their practice to emulate conditions during the game.
