Jay Ratliff returns to practice

Cowboys starting nose tackle Jay Ratliff and starting defensive tackle Kenyon Coleman returned to practice today.  This is the first time Ratliff has practiced since hurting his ankle in the Cowboys preseason game against the St. Louis Rams in August.

Also Cowboys rookie safety Matt Johnson, center Phil Costa also participated in some aspects of practice.

Outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware (hamstring), outside linebacker Anthony Spencer (pectoral muscle), tight end John Phillips (ankle), inside linebacker Bruce Carter (hip), and punter Chris Jones (knee) didn’t practice.
