The NFL canceled the National Fantasy Football Convention headed by Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. Tony broke the news to his fans via his Twitter account.

 

Romo’s teammate Dez Bryant wasn’t to pleased with the NFL’s decision to pull the plug on the convention and had this to say via his Twitter account.

Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware has not practiced all week but is listed as probable on the Dallas Cowboys’ official injury report. He is dealing with a hyper extended right elbow and shoulder injuries.

Ware, will wear a brace on his right shoulder for Sunday’s pivotal game to keep the shoulder from popping out of place. Below is the current injury report.

Dez Bryant could be done for the season; seeking a second opinion

Richie Whitt of 105.3 the fan first reported that Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant had torn ligaments in his finger and will have season-ending surgery, and would be placed on injured reserve.

It is now being reported that Dez Bryant has a fractured left index finger that could require surgery. Bryant is the Cowboys leading receiver with 1,028 yards, nine touchdowns, and 75 receptions.

Bryant hurt the finger in the 4th quarter of the Cowboys emotional 20-19 win against the Bengals. He missed five plays then returned one play before his touchdown catch.

The Cowboys hope Bryant can avoid season-ending surgery. He is scheduled to visit a hand specialist to get a second opinion.

Cowboys stumbles pass the Browns for a 23-20 overtime win


 

 

 

The Dallas Cowboys (5-5) edge the Cleveland Brown (2-8) 23-20 at Cowboy’s Stadium. The Cowboys led by Dez Bryant’s 12 receptions for a career-high 145 yards and a touchdown.

While Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo completed 35 of 50 passes for 313 yards and one touchdown, no interceptions. The victory not only puts the Cowboys even for the season it puts them only a game behind the New York Giants in the NFC East.

Turnovers dooms Cowboys comeback attempt.


In a game where turnovers plagued the Dallas Cowboys all game their huge comeback attempt comes up short as the New York Giants held on for a 29-24 victory in Cowboys Stadium. The stunning loss drops the Cowboys to overall record of 3-4 and are currently 1-1 in their division with four NFC East games remaining.

The Cowboys defense led by nose tackle Jay Ratliff was stellar most of the game only allowing the Giants offense a total of 293 yards and 13 points (five FG’s, 1 touchdown).

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo finished the game with 437 yards passing with a touchdown and four interceptions he also rushed for a touchdown. Cowboys tight end Jason Witten had a record-setting  day with 18 receptions for 167 yards. Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin had nine receptions for 133 yards, and troubled wide receiver Dez Bryant chipped in with 5 receptions for 110 yards but he also had one costly fumble on a punt return.

  • Cowboys had a season-high six turnovers, five of them leading to New York scores.
  • Lance Dunbar had 142 yards for an average of 23.7 yards per return on kickoff returns.

Breaking News: Dez Bryant Negotiating Plea Bargain


The Dallas Cowboys Flagship station 105.3 the Fan is reporting Dez Bryant is currently negotiating a plea bargain with the Dallas County District Attorney’s office to plea guilty to a reduced charge of a Class C misdemeanor for Family Violence.

With Bryant’s guilty plea to the reduced charge of Family Violence he will receive no jail time, no probation, a $500 fine and will have to take anger management classes.

Dez Bryant vows to play in Week 1


With the recent rash of injuries to the Cowboys roster mostly their starters.

The question that was on everyone’s mind is will Bryant be ready to play in Week 1.

Bryant left Monday’s practice after he slipped on the grass coming out of his break during a position drill. He was later diagnosed patella tendonitis in his right knee.

When Dez was ask will he be ready for the Week 1 game at MetLife Stadium against the Giants, Bryant said, “You know I’m going to play in New York, that’s without a doubt.”

Bryant will not play in Saturday night’s preseason game at Cowboys Stadium vs the St. Louis Rams and most likely is out for the preseason finale against Dolphins on August 29.

Mickey Spagnola @Spags52 via twitter reports Dez Bryant basically has inflammation of the patellar tendon…just passed him, walking fine, should easily be ready for the season opener.
