The Dallas Cowboys 38-33 win over the Eagles keep the Cowboys wildcard and NFC East chances alive. The win puts Dallas within one game of the NFC wildcard and one game of the NFC East title if the Redskins pulls off the win.

The Redskins (5-6) and the Giants (7-4) play tonight on Monday Night Football on ESPN.

NFL fines Cowboys CB Mike Jenkins $7,875


 

The NFL fines Dallas Cowboys cornerback Mike Jenkins $7,875 for an unnecessary roughness penalty in the Cowboys 38-31 loss to Washington on Thanksgiving at Cowboys Stadium.

Jenkins was penalized for knocking receiver Pierre Garcon to the ground after he scored on a 59-yard touchdown pass from Robert Griffin III.

Cowboys sign WR Anthony Armstrong


The Dallas Cowboys sign former Washington Redskins wide receiver Anthony Armstrong today.

Armstrong, who is from Carrollton, Texas played for the Dallas Arena League team the Dallas Desperados he also played with Miami Dolphins (2008–2009) and the Jacksonville Jaguars (2012).

He has 54 career receptions for 986 yards and five touchdowns in his three years in the NFL.

Cowboys placed ILB Bruce Carter on IR


The Dallas Cowboys have placed inside linebacker Bruce Carter to injured reserve. Carter will have season-ending surgery on his dislocated left elbow.

Carter dislocated his elbow in the second half of the Cowboys’ 38-31 loss to the Washington Redskins on Thanksgiving at Cowboys Stadium.

This will be the fourth Cowboys defensive starter DE Kenyon Coleman (triceps), linebacker Sean Lee (toe), safety Barry Church (achilles) added to injured reserve this season.

Is Bruce Carter’s season over?


The Dallas Cowboys football team ravaged by injury all season could end up losing their star second year pro inside linebacker Bruce Carter. He dislocated his elbow in the second half of the Cowboys’ 38-31 loss to the Washington Redskins on Thanksgiving at Cowboys Stadium.

The Cowboys front office will know more about Carter’s playing status on Monday. If Carter does end up needing surgery to repair his injured elbow he will be placed on injured reserve and his season will be over.

Bruce Carter has 70 tackles (51 solo) for the season.
